Braille indicators are required on signs which have multiple lines of text. The purpose of the braille indicator is to provide a cue for the braille and tactile sign reader that additional lines of text are provided on the sign.
Braille indicators have a half circle shape and are raised. They are provided near the side edge of the sign in front of the first line of text.
