1 May 2019, is the adoption date for the 2019 edition of the BCA/NCC by all States and Territories. The adoption date signifies that, from today, BCA/NCC 2019 is given legal effect by relevant legislation in each State and Territory.
The next edition of the BCA/NCC is scheduled to be released in 2022.
It is noted that there are minor changes to the Clause D3.6 of the NCC/BCA including the addition Clause D3.6 (g) which requires directional signage from non-accessible and accessible sanitary facilities to the location of the nearest adult change facility within a building.
There are no changes to Specification D3.6 of the NCC/BCA.
